God Loving Me Perfectly

August 26, 2010

God: I am perfect. There is nothing imperfect in Me. I am perfect. I don’t need your perfection. I love you perfectly. Your imperfection doesn’t change My perfect Love for you. What do you think? Do you think that you can change Me? I can’t change. I love perfectly.

Joy: What about the law?

God: The law never made them perfect. The law in your heart does not make you perfect. Your perfection comes from nowhere in you. You have the Holy Spirit to lead you and to guide you, but that doesn’t make you perfect. My Love for you is not based on your needing to be perfect. I loved you first. I have always loved you from the beginning. Just because man sinned doesn’t mean that I stopped loving you.

Joy: How do You see me then?

God: My Love loves no matter what. Sin keeps you from believing that you are loved, because it makes you think that you need to earn it when you mess up. Nothing changes My Love for you. You can’t change it. You can’t change Me. I am perfect and you are not.

Joy: What about Jesus? Why did He have to die?

God: You are just like you never sinned. I can pass over you because of the blood of Jesus.

Joy: Why did He have to die? How does that have to do with You loving me?

God: I can do everything to try to have a relationship with My people. I can do everything, but that is still a one-sided relationship. I did everything for My Son and He did everything for Me.

Joy: Can You talk to me about Your Love for me and help me to understand how You see me?

God: I see you the same way I see Jesus. My Love is the same for everyone because I am Love. How can I show you that, Joy? How can I help you to see that all I am is Love and that that never changes no matter what you do? How can I prove that to you?

I want you to believe it as much as I love you. I want you to understand me and why I do what I do; it is not to make the world perfect.

I do not see the world as a bunch of messed up things–messed up and doomed. I am not depressed. My Love is poured out. I am poured out. I am given for you. I have poured out Myself for you.

What can I do to help you understand My sacrifice for you? What can I say to prove it to you? You are special. You are My child. You believe I love you when you want to. You believe that when you feel happy and are having a good day that you are loved. If you are depressed it is because God must hate you and not love you at all.

What if My Love was not dependent on your mood? What if My Love was always the same and you just don’t believe it all the time? What if I was totally for you and ready for you? I want you to take what I have.

There are no conditions for My Love. There are no conditions to taking My Love. It is available. There are no conditions. You think that you have not met all the conditions for My Love. You think that one day you might get there, but that you aren’t there yet.

You are there now. You don’t have to do anything, go anywhere or become anyone to receive My Love. There is no waiting in my kingdom; it is now. The time is now and I want you to have My Love now. That is what will change you. It is not changing yourself so you can have My Love.

Are you getting it? My Love is free and for the taking. It costs nothing for you and everything from Me; that is the preciousness of My Love for you that you don’t have to do anything to get it. No waiting, no cursing, no problems can keep it from you My child. It is always here. That is how precious I am. That is how neat it is, you would say.

I am loved by those who receive the gift that is there for them. The moment is now. Take My gift of Love and secure it and then you can live My Life. You can be free and be able to live. That is My purpose. Take the Love and go with it. Please know that.

August 27, 2010

Joy: If You don’t need my perfection, what do You need from me? I thought I couldn’t get Your Love until I was perfect. So, I’ve been very depressed because I knew I could never earn it: so, what’s the point of living?

God: My Love is free. If you had to earn it, it wouldn’t be Love. My Love is a different kind of love than you know. My Love is free because I gave everything, so you could get it for free; that is why I love you. Love means you don’t have to do anything to get it. It is free – that is Love – no conditions.

There are no conditions when I love; it is for always. My Love is non-conditional. It does not love you because of something you have or something that looks good on you.

I love you. I love who you are. I love who you are just as is. You are the one I love.

Joy: What about having to keep the law to be accepted by You? I don’t understand?

God: The Law protects you. You are living in My protection when there are walls around you that you don’t cross – that is protection – that is My Love.

Joy: But man kept going outside the walls?

God: Man didn’t understand My Love for them. It is My Love that keeps you protected. It is My Love that wants to take care of you. It has always been a law of Love.

Joy: Why would You give Your people a law they couldn’t keep?

God: It is My Love which keeps them believing that in My Love is what keeps you. That is what always keeps you safe. I have not changed.

Joy: Why do You want to love me? What are Your motives? Are You loving me to get something from me?

God: There are many reasons for why I love you. Do you want me to tell you why I love you?

I love what I see in you. I love to see you, to look at you, to be around you. I love being with you. There is nothing better than to just be with you, spending time with you. I love to be with you.

Remember that it is I who loved you first. I wanted to love you. I like to love you and spend time with you. It is a joy for me.

There are so many reasons why I love you. I give. I always give. That is why Love gives. I always love no matter what. I always love no matter what I get.

Joy: Can You please answer my question?

God: I want you. I want to give Myself to you. I want to give to you. I want to care for you. I want to heal you. That is part of loving you. I want to be there for you, give everything to you – I love for it. It is not something that I am not passionate about. I am passionate about you and for you. You can have it. You can have that passionate Love you long for.

You have to believe that I am for you and want to give it to you. You are worth it. You are the object of My affection and love. Do you understand the relationship? It is really all about that. I am the Lover. I love my people. You are the object of My affection and desires and have always been; that is who I am. I am tearing down the walls in you. Now you are seeing me for who I really am and it hurts you (Joy: It hurts good). My Love is patient, so I have longed for you for a long time.

Joy: What else would You like to tell me? Hooray! (I feel all of heaven rejoicing!).

That is it!!!! This is what I have waited for, for so long. You love me!!! I love you!!! We can be together!!! What a joy!!! There is no distance between both of us. John 17.

Ps 28:7

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

SEIBEL-TYRREL TEAM
It’s really great to have electric power and internet back on, after so many days of intermittent brown-outs due to the typhoon’s damage of power lines.
We covered 8 villages in 10 days, traveling between 2 provinces of Abra and La Union — I can’t keep track of how many kilometers we traveled by van, jeepney, tricycle and even on foot – but I am sure that every inch covered is an inch advanced for the Kingdom!
God showed us His favor everywhere we went. The province of Abra is considered a “political hot spot” due to the upcoming village elections, but we experienced nothing but the people’s generosity and friendship. We were warmly welcomed by the mayors of the 2 towns that we visited.
One mayor even asked us to hold our evening crusade right in their town plaza so that all the towns people can attend and be blessed!
After the crusade, the mayor and his wife invited our whole team for dinner, and we were escorted back into the city by  their provincial guards.
We also visited a public high school with more than 450 students, met with the principal who was more than happy for us to share the Gospel with their students and teachers.
In La Union, we were met by Typhoon Juan!
In spite of the bad weather, people came out to listen to the Word and received prayers.
One evening crusade had to be canceled because typhoon signal #3 was raised in our area, and the village people were all taken to an evacuation center.
The following morning, we went to the evacuation center and held a mini crusade right there!
People came to the Lord and received prayers from the missionaries, and 3 Bible Study groups were formed.
During our last evening crusade, one family came forward to request special prayers in their home because they have been experiencing demonic activities there.
So we all walked to their home, prayed for them..and this morning, we just received news that there is now a Bible Study in that home!
We have so many more individual accounts of how God showed His amazing power, love and answered every prayer..
The joy of the Lord is our strength!

35th Annual Conference

The 35th Annual Conference was held July 9-10, 2010 in Chico, California. Pastor Larry Lane of Neighborhood Church graciously hosted the Conference at Eglesla Christo Salva, the brand new Spanish church located on Neighborhood’s grounds.

The Conference theme was, Deepening Love, Multiplying Churches. Conference speakers were frontline pastors and missionary evangelists to whom God has given fresh and innovative ways to multiply churches and promote love and unity in the Body of Christ. Attendees included pastors, evangelists, intercessors and zealous believers from 27 different churches in California, New Jersey, Hawaii, Austria and the Philippines (Thirteen cities in the Sacramento Valley were represented.)

Heather Wurlitzer opened the Conference with anointed worship. The first speaker, Gaylord Enns, is the President of Servant Leadership Network and author of the ground breaking book, Love Revolution: Rediscovering the Lost Command of Jesus. Three days before the Conference Gaylord returned from sharing the “Love Revolution” at pastors’ conferences and crusades in Uganda and Ethiopia.

Gaylord pointed out that God wants us to put the corporate Body of Christ and the Kingdom of God first. He stated, “This is not about me and my kingdom … it is about the next generation.” He also emphasized that we need to live entirely out of the love, strength, grace and glory inherent in the New Covenant. If we try to live out of a combination of the Old and New Covenants we will weaken because, “The Law always empowers our weaknesses.”

Gaylord’s revelations on unity in the Body of Christ were instructive. He pointed out that The New Covenant introduces a “God styled” form of love and unity, because our triune God is love and dwells in perfect oneness. As His children, we are made in His image and are designed to share the Father’s love with each other. Gaylord also spoke of “Missional Unity,” a term that highlights the reality that the Body of Christ is relationally unified and called to corporately fulfill the Great Commission.

The next speaker was Jonathan Morris, the President of Strategic Partners Among Nations (SPAN) and Church Multiplication Coalition (CMC). Jonathan shared how an encounter with God and his own research led him to spearhead a new movement in world missions. Briefly, here is his story:

While Jonathan was part of a team doing crusades in the rural Philippines, God spoke powerfully into his heart. He said, “No one wants these people … but I do.” God also told Jonathan that He was upset that it had taken so long to reach the lost. After hearing from God, Jonathan has been totally convinced that, “Jesus deserves to be worshiped in every village.” He has dedicated the rest of his life to making that happen.

Jonathan started by working with Jill Boyonas, GSIF Asia Foundation’s President in the Philippines and an experienced crusade evangelist and mobilizer. After researching church growth patterns in the Philippines, they concluded that past evangelistic efforts were not adequate to reach the Philippines in their lifetimes. A new strategy was needed. Jonathan and Jill found a key component of God’s plan in India. There they found that pastors working together across denominational lines established thousands of churches—many more than they did previously when they labored independently of each other.

The success of the pastors in India led Jonathan and Jill to establish the CMC in the Philippines in 2006. They shared the church multiplication concept with ministerial fellowships they had done crusades for in recent years. They found many pastors who were zealous to join their own CMC pastors’ networks to cooperatively establish self- supporting Bible studies and churches in unreached villages. Jonathan and Jill, along with regional Filipino CMC leaders, encourage the pastors to continue to meet, pray and support one another and co-labor with American crusade teams.

The results have been encouraging. In CMC crusades from 2006-2009, 267,967 Filipinos prayed to receive the Lord. As a result, the local Filipino pastors and church planters started 3,404 new Bible Studies for the converts and 579 new churches were established. CMC research shows that one year after the crusades, 40-60% of the new converts remain in the Bible Studies and connected to the local sponsoring church.

There are now over 150 CMC pastors’ networks comprised of over 2,200 pastors from different denominations. These networks are active in 60% of the provinces in the Philippines. In the first two months of 2010, CMC pastors’ networks planted 100 new churches.

At the Conference, Jonathan shared some great mission stories and showed a DVD in which he, Jill and African leaders discussed the way CMC is mobilizing pastors. CMC’s pastors’ network and church planting movement is now active in the Philippines, Myanmar (Burma), Peru, Uganda and Ethiopia.

Cedric and Joy Panis, CMC’s Regional Directors for Luzon (The Philippines’ large northern island), presented a very lively and informative video. It highlighted the progress in Luzon and provided timetables to establish more CMC pastors’ networks that will reach thousands of villages still without a church.

For over ten years Cedric and Joy have coordinated GSIF seminars for pastors in the Philippines. At these gatherings, Rev. Arthur Defenderfer and other American ministers encouraged the pastors to unify, love one another and faithfully fulfill their callings. Cedric and Joy are now pastors, crusade coordinators and vital members of the GSIF and CMC leadership teams in the Philippines.

The Conference host pastor, Larry Lane, presented a candid message summarizing the high points of 17 years of inspiring unity among pastors in Chico and in Central and Northern California. Larry continues to spearhead the Pastors’ Prayer Summits in the Chico area and many local and regional gatherings of pastors, church leaders, intercessors and churches.

Larry shared a summary of what he has learned in unifying pastors and working for revival. His five points are as follows: 1. Maintain a holy dissatisfaction and hunger for revival. Do not settle for achieving the “lowest bar” of change. 2. Relationship, Relationship, Relationship. He pointed out that, “You will never go beyond the level of your relationships.” 3. Faith. Pastors will not invest in anything they don’t believe will happen. 4. Develop Kingdom people, not Kingdom events. Release the Kingdom in your sphere of influence. 5. Perseverance. It takes years to get to know the people in the local church and the community.

Conference attendees were grateful to hear GSIF minister Mary McDonald share some highlights of her outstanding new book, Uncovering Love, Discovering Soul. She described how God designed us to love. Once we are born again, our spirit is designed to pour the Father’s love into our souls so we love one another as Jesus loved us. When this happens, we can proclaim the Gospel with love so that unbelievers can believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

Mary’s very readable book shares her difficult personal journey. She describes how she was transformed from relentless self efforts to earn God’s love, to resting in Him as a beloved daughter. After decades of striving, stress, guilt and condemnation she is now free to joyously flow in God’s lavish love for herself and others. The book also contains a clear Biblical explanation of the way God designed our spirit, soul and body to function and interrelate. Mary gave her book to everyone at the Conference who requested a copy.

Other highlights of the Conference included the ordination of Bill Wallace from Davis as a Licensed Minister in the GSIF. The prayers of the Aglow intercessors were significant, especially for those who received words of encouragement from them in the prayer room.

The GSIF leadership wants to thank Larry Lane, the leadership team and loving members of Neighborhood Church for hosting the Conference. All appreciated the volunteers from different churches who took care of the behind the scenes details including serving up a delicious free lunch for everyone.

Please contact Arthur Defenderfer if you would like a CD of any of the messages, a copy of Mary McDonald’s/or Gaylord Enns’ book, or desire membership in the Fellowship.

Here are the results from a recent Church Multiplication Coalition outreach that was headed by Pastor Eric Moen from Truckee, Ca.  The 13 member team he headed worked with the Philippine leaders Cedric and Joy Panis.  The scripture that comes to mind is in the book of Acts – 16:5. “So the churches were strengthened in the faith, and they increased in numbers daily.”

Dear Saints:

Greetings:

I trust you are all well in Jesus.

Below is an excellent report about the results of a Church Multiplication Coalition crusade Pastor Mark and I partnered with in a small village in the Philippines in 2008. We praise God for fruit that remains.

Pastor Art
Davis

From: Joy Panis from San Fernando, La Union Province, Philippines

Subject: Progress Report from Barangay Leg-Leg, San Juan

Hello!!
I received this great report from Sister Malou Binabice, the local ministry worker from Barangay Leg-Leg, San Juan where we had a mini crusade last November 2008 with
Art and Mark Gallego.

Sister malou writes:
“Greetings in the wonderful Name of our Lord Jesus!
We have already 6 ongoing Bible Studies in Brgy. Leg-Leg, with weekly home visitation and prayer meetings.

We are focusing our vision on our Children’s Ministry, beginning January 30, 2010, every Saturday, with about 60 children.

The young lady who was a rape victim and received Jesus during the crusade and got prayed for healing is now living the life of an active young person. God brought her back to a normal, peacefull life, without the pain in her heart.

In one of our Bible studies in a member’s home (Sister Fely is her name) her husband accepted Jesus during a Bible study last December. This man is now very active and supportive of our Bible studies; he is even the one who entertains us when we visit the family weekly.”

Sister Malou’s 1st request is for our prayers for the continued growth of their ministry in that village. There are many young people in that place that are out of school, and their ministry intends to impact these teens and young adults to get involved in Bible studies.
Their village was also affected by the typhoons and flooding last year. Recovery is slow, but they are sure of God’s faithfulness.

Secondly, Sister Malou is seeking whatever financial support that we can extend towards the work in Brgy Leg-Leg.
If you remember from our last visit, this barangay is quite a distance from the closest village or town.
Bible studies, visitation, prayer meetings, children and youth ministry activities have to be accomplished by means of tricycle transportation, and if they are short of funds…on foot. Bibles are also needed for their expanding bible study groups.

I told Sister Malou that we will be praying about these ministry needs even as we thank and praise God for the victory in Brgy. Leg-Leg!!

In Christ Alone,
Joy

Live a Life of Love
